If you are a beginner do not go for the money but go for hard work. It hardly takes you 6-12 months for hard work and then starts your earning. In the meantime, you can interact with your users.
3. Writing articles only on your interest
All beginners in blogging write articles on their own interests. Which make their blog look less attractive. You must take a note of what your users want mostly about which topics they are interested in. You must communicate with your users by asking them for the topic of their choice and write articles accordingly.
4. Not blogging regularly
You must try to write articles on your regular basis.
